Mike Green
BIO: Mike Green is a lifelong resident of the greater Lowell area. Being immersed in the world of woodworking since childhood and following in the traditions of his father, he is a skilled craftsman in his own right. Needing an outlet for creative expression beyond that which daily woodworking provided, Mike has found a passion for sculptural turned wood.
ARTISTS STATEMENT: Turning wood is the creative extension of insights gained through some three decades of woodworking. During each journey in turning, in both sculptural and functional works, I strive to emphasize the natural beauty within each form.
